Everyone deserves a rest. So do I.
My March holidays officially start tomorrow. AWESOME! Eh wait, look, (points at the calendar) tomorrow’s Sunday and school reopens on Monday. Whatever happened to my March holidays? Haha, that was a rhetorical question actually.
Good that I kept true to my words and did not touch the computer unless necessary. Pats on my back.
Anyways, I am partly happy that DARE2 is finally over because it marks the end of the seemingly endless days. It all started with this thing called B2B. It took place one weekend. The next weekend, we had another thing called OLC1. The week after that weekend, we had this dreaded thing called CTs. The weekend right after CTs we had a continuation of OLC1, called OLC2. The night OLC2 ended, we began on our intense DARE2 preparation. And today, it was DARE2.
But I think I will be, erhm, lost (?) after all these will be over. My life will be just school, study, tests, school, study, test …
Honestly speaking, I haven’t really gone out to enjoy myself since the day people started writing ‘2009′ instead of ‘2008′. Haven’t watched a single movie (aww sad), haven’t gone out with my friends (esp my secondary school friends, double sad), haven’t gone shopping (not even window shopping), haven’t played any game (be it computer or PS or plain board games), basically, I haven’t had any time to relax.
My life simply revolved around LTs, classrooms, ODAC room, Pulau Ubin, my bed. Quite sad ah, come to think of it. I really really really really really need to take a break.
Come on, I haven’t watched a single movie at all this year. Slumdog, no. Marley, no. Benjamin, no. The three movies I was dying to watch =(
OHHHH, something I have to say.
Recently, my mum wanted to watch some programme on Ch5 and told me to switch on the television for her because she was lazy to get up and grab the remote. So I walked over to the corner where the power switches and plugs are and stared at the corner for at least 3 seconds before it hit me that my dad had reorganised the wiring AND I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT. I spent like 3 seconds trying to figure out which plug belongs to the television and which switch should I turn on. That doesn’t end there. So after I switched on the main switched, I turned on the television using the remote and stoned at the screen for some 5 seconds until my mum snapped me out of it and asked me what I was staring at. And I told her that I FORGOT WHICH BUTTON ON THE REMOTE TO PRESS FOR CH5.
Oh and one last thing, it took me TWO DAYS to actually realised that the television in my living room has been changed. Apparently my dad got some television from somewhere and replaced the one in the living room with the one he got from a random source. And it was only two days after he made the replacement that I noticed that the television was no longer the same.
-.-
And call myself a couch potato. Well, I USED to be one.
Whatever is happening to my life?
But honestly, I cannot imagine living a life different from the one I currently am. So, although I may be ranting off and complaining about how my life sucks, I do realise that I actually do enjoy my life. Somewhat.
Thank you God for giving me such a blessed life!!
My life, I’m lovin’ it.
Three cheers and three cheers and three cheers for Fathiyah! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray!
I need to talk.
