So many things have happened this week. I had wanted to blog about them but I couldn’t. Or rather, I didn’t want to. I’m trying not to be so addicted to the computer, you know, refrain from using the computer so often. I haven’t been using the computer for such a long time, when I used it last night I ended up sleeping after 12midnight.
Sea Expedition was F-U-N! Paired up with SH who also happened to be my Chamah partner. Our kayak was the heaviest. Why? ‘Cause we’re the heaviest guy and the heaviest girl in our batch! And plus the tonnes of water in our kayak. We were like paddling 100kg plus of weight. INERTIA! We found out that we had a hard time trying to gather momentum probably due to our high inertia but once our kayak started moving, it was easier. And our gear system! Gear 1! Gear 2! Gear 3! Gear 4! It was damn woah. We were the last kayak for the start of the journey back but we didn’t want to stay last so we chionged all the way to the front!! The feeling was so damn nice. Got to see LH, XY and WI whom we have not seen throughout the whole of Sea Ex ’cause they were in front all the time. But after some time staying at the front, we decided to take it slow and started to lag behind. Certain parts were very demoralising, like when we were heading back to Camelot. It felt like we were not moving and like we were paddling just to stay at the same spot. The waves and the wind. Against us but the feel of the wind against your face and bobbing up and down the waves was awesome. The fun outweighed the suffering, so in conclusion it was just pure fun. 2.4km timing. Overall, I deproved by two whole fat minutes as compared to last year. So far, I have ran four times this year. From the first to the second, I improved by 30secs. From the second to the third, I deproved by 20secs. From the third to the fourth, I improved by 30secs. So overall, from the first to the fourth, I improved by..Do your Math.
Last Wednesday’s PT made me very determined to push on. ‘Cause all these while, whenever we run, I will always be behind YY. Never managed to surpass her before. But that day, I chionged the last part of the 2.4km run and beat her. But I think I got a little complacent after beating her and slowed down a little. YY chionged past me. But I’m not disappointed that YY cut me back. In fact, I am very happy. ‘Cause it made me realised not to be complacent. Now that I have proven that I can catch up with YY, I believe I will be able to surpass her. One day. Very soon. Just you watch YY.
My broke my resolution not to sleep in class this year. I dozed off during Math lecture a few days ago and again during Mr Cook’s Econs tutorial today. AHH! This can’t be happening!! SLAPS SLAPS SLAPS.
Maybe I need a break.
PS: I chopped off my hair.
