Before I start on my post proper, congrats to Cedar and the 2008 batch for the great results! Every year, boundaries are forgotten, limits are surpassed and history is rewritten. Awesome.
Two days have passed and I’m feeling optimistic about school=)
First day of school was really bad. I was so excited for it (I even woke up at 5am instead of my usual 530am) but it turned out to be one of the worst first-day-of-school ever. It was boring. Plain boring. Because of Math R paper, we didn’t have any lectures at all and the only lesson we had was Biology tutorial. By Leslie Toh (‘Cause Mrs Teo is away). I was quite happy during Biology ’cause I #1 have already read through the lecture notes beforehand #2 understood the topic, #3 did my tutorial. Slacked around in the ODAC Room, waiting for filming and OLC meeting to commence. We (AD, JN, LH, ST) played with the photo function in SH’s Mac. Took lots of phots, some nice ones (like the ‘porn’ HAHA) and some plain stupid. Filiming was even more stupid. Can’t wait to see the final video though.
Day 2 of school was much better. We got back 16PF report WHICH IS SO ACCURATE! Everything they said describes me really well, like how I am rule conscious, a perfectionist, a very practical person etc. So true so true! And according to the report,
“Ms. Diyana shows personality characteristics similar to Conventional persons, who tend to be methodical, systematic and extremely precise. Such individuals may prefer working in a highly structurd environment. Conventional persons focus on practical issues and do not get lost in the world of fanciful ideation. They often have excellent organizational skills, clerical ability, and/or office skills. It may be worthwhile to explore whether Ms. Diyana enjoys dealing with facts and figures or is adept at organizing information.”
“Occupational Fields: Accounting, Administrative Occupations, Clerical Occupations, Banking, Finances”
My dad was so sad when he heard that Medicine or Science were not among the occupational fields that suit my personality. HAHA. But he was slightly happier when he read at the next page:
“Occupational Fields: Science, Math, Research, Medicine & Health, Computer Science”
The report is so detailed and accurate!
We were told to hand in a draft of our T3A next Tuesday and I have totally no idea on what to add into my T3A. The only thing I can think of is my leadership position in ODAC. That’s one. I need two more. HELP! I’m so stressed up thinking about it. I was talking to my mum and telling her about T3A and that I don’t know what to write for it. She asked me what others were going to write. So I mentioned stuff like leadership roles, competitions, OCIP etc. Which got me stressed up thinking that I could easily have another entry if only..Yah. Then I went back to my room to pray and while praying, I don’t know why, I just started crying. I tried to stop ’cause it just shows that I wasn’t focused while praying but the tears just kept coming. After I prayed, my dad walked in and said he was sorry and I chased him out.
During CT session, we went down the row to talk about our holidays. Everyone had interesting things to talk about. Leanne and Kenny talked about their Research. Shermaine, Jill, Reema and Katharine talked about their overseas trips. Yi Ling, Nicholas, and Alvin talked about their OCIP (sad). And when it came to my turn,
Me: I did nothing.
Mrs. Liew: Nothing? (Attempts to prompt me)
Me: (Nods)
Mrs. Liew: You mean you just lived day by day..
Me: Kind of.
It was so depressing having nothing to talk about for your holidays.
I had planned to jog with JN & SK but it rained =(
These tears, they keep flowing. These words, they keep hurting.
then what are you waiting for!!!go and get started on something that you can write for your t3a!!!!SHOO!its not too late.why are you giving up?
