Okay, I promised myself that I will not blog until 26th September but I could not resist it.
18 September 2007; I hope everyone’s getting on fine. I can still remember the shock when I received smses from my friends telling me about you. And when I got the call, I just didn’t know what to say or what to do. We may have made you angry at times, made you sad, made you disappointed. It’s a little too late to apologise. But we do hope that wherever you are, do know that we all love you and miss you.
On a lighter note, the Real Run-ners went to Raffles City to register for the New Balance Real Run. I had planned to run 10km but the rest wanted to run 15km, so I was kind of “forced” to run 15km with them. Didn’t want to run 10km alone you see. Well, I have never tried running full 10km before, what more 15km. So let’s see, what are the chances of me surviving the 15km run? Erhm, 0.1%? Gosh. I’m trying to be optimistic and you know, tell myself that it’s just a run. Yeah, JUST A RUN. But it’s not just any other kind of run. It’s a cross terrain run – road, trail, sand, runway. I’m concerned about the sand part of the run. After Welcome PT, I decided that running on sand was horrible! It gives you really bad muscle aches. But hey, look on the brighter side. I get a “free” running tee! Well, not considered free since I paid $30 for it.
SAFRA Adventure Race!!! I WANT TO GO!!! But I don’t have a bike =( I want, I want, I want! ADELINEEEE
