Another long week has passed =|
WELCOME PT [160408] – It was tiring but the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction was WOAH! We ran a total of 8km with physical conditioning intervals. Did sit-ups, push-ups, burpeys, leg lifts, squats. Ran from the school, along East Coast Park and to the end of Bedok Jetty where we made a U-turn and ran back to school. I could not keep up with the rest at times and needed encouragement and motivation from others. Next time I shall learn to motivate and encourage myself! Thank you Jiani for running with me and for constantly pushing me on! =)
Paggawa Tinikling Dance – Tiring yet fun! It builds up on your stamina, strengthens your leg muscles and trains your sense of coordination. Like that don’t need to go climb stairs and run during PT! Can just take the bamboo poles out and start jumping and dancing =]
ECP Orienteering [140408 & 170408] – Ran/jogged/walked to ECP while nice Lemuel cycled there -.- Placed the checkpoint cards at their respective places and went back to Marine Terrace to start the orienteering session proper. Did some conditioning while facilitating the orienteering but could not climb stairs. Wanted to go cycle around ECP but didn’t. In the end not every one could finish the orienteering and we had to do it again for those who have not done theirs yesterday. So yesterday I met up with Syikin and Yanyi and went to ECP where Xuan Yi, Por Yee, Germaine and Min Su just completed theirs. Borrowed Yi En’s bicycle and cycled around ECP to collect and remove the checkpoint cards. CYCLING IS FUN! =]
A random thing happened to me recently. One day, I bought a plate of rice with side dishes and was about to pay when the Uncle told me to guess how much it costs and if I guessed correctly, he will give it to me for free. And guess what, I GOT IT FOR FREE! So nice of the Uncle! And today I bought some light snacks and the Auntie gave me extra food! =]
PW group – Joanne, Kenny, Shermaine, Zhi Yang. I hope that we’ll work well with each other and please please please no internal conflicts and disagreements!
